PLANNING MEETING IN CHISINAU, MOLDOVA
Type of activity: Project Planning Meeting
Place: Chisinau, Moldova
Arrival: 25 March 2009
Departure: 30 March 2009
Length: 4 full working days.
Number of participants: 16 (2 Armenia, 2Azerbajan, 2 Georgia, 2 Ukraine, 2 Russia, 2 Moldova, 2 Belarus + 2 from Sweden )
Participant profile: from all the countries there will be present 2 participants: 1 board member responsible for the GALE and EEYC in the organisation and the project coordinator of the GALE.
Aims:
• To do the evaluation of the GALE project 2008
• To plan the activities of the EEYC and of the GALE project activities for the year 2009.
• To write concrete proposal and projects (using the phasing out document)

Expected results (including how it is linked up with the above-mentioned project objectives and indicators):
• The implementation of the GALE project 2008 evaluated: the results and the problems analyzed.
• The priorities for the Eastern European Youth Cooperation for the year 2009 established;
• The action plan for year 2009 elaborated;
• The responsibilities of each partners defined.

WORKING MEETING OF ORGANIZING COMMITTEE ON PREPARATION OF THE YOUTH FESTIVAL.

Place: Minsk, Belarus
Arrival: Departure:  4 working days in April-May
Number of participants: 3 from every NYC; 21 participant + 1 facilitator + 1 expert = 23
Participant profile: people who have experience and knowledge in organizing big youth festivals, in PR, in foundrising
Aim: In honor of the 5 year anniversary of EEYC to prepare conception of Youth festival, to work out detailed plan of preparation of the Youth festival. The purpose of the festival is to show capability of EEYC and to strengthen mutual relations between member organizations and youth of the countries of EEYC. The festival will allow to acquaint youth of our countries with culture of 7 countries, to present activities of EEYC that will lead to greater tolerance and familiarization with cultures of the participating countries. Moreover the festival will draw attention of world community and the European youth organizations that will add popularity and will increase prestige of EEYC. During festival all possible cultural, sports and scientific actions which will be in detail developed by organizing committee will be lead.

• Detailed plan of preparation of the Youth festival
• Conception of the Youth festival

TRAINING COURSE ON DEMOCRATIC CITIZENSHIP AND YOUTH PARTICIPATION

Type of activity: Training Course (Seminar)
Place: Tbilisi Georgia
Arrival: 1 July 2009 Departure: 6 July 2009 (four working days)
Number of participants: 3 participants per country, + 2 Swedish participants totally 24
Participant profile: Each NYC sends 3 representatives who are aware on democratic citizenship and youth participation or have willingness to broaden their experience and knowledge in this field.
Aim: To raise awareness on democratic citizenship and youth participation, to spread European Values of democracy and participation, to promote ethnic minority youth participation in social/political life of the country. To get involved young women from different ethnical minorities.
Expected results: (including how it is linked up with the above-mentioned project objectives and indicators): the Training Course strengthens member organizations of the EEYC and encourages development of stronger civil society as “Democratic Citizenship and youth participation” are strongly linked to each other. To support and further develop existing and new forms of youth participation in decision-making and promote public youth policies in the MOs of EEYC, especially with young people who have less access to decision-making structures. To empower young people to become active citizens and to actively participate in democratic institutions and processes. In addition, the MOs will be given an opportunity to exchange best practice in mentioned fields.

POOL OF TRAINERS TRAINING FOR SUSTAINABLE WORK ESTABLISHMENT OF THE EASTERN-EUROPEAN REGION TRAINERS;

Place: Ukraine
Month: November, 4 Working dates
Number of participants: 21 participants (3 persons from each NYC) + 2 facilitators + 2 resource people = 25
Participant profile: each country sends trainers with the experience of work on the national on international levels who is willing to participate in the Festival.
Aim: (including how it is linked up with the above-mentioned project objectives):
Aim: to develop the tentative programme of the festival in particular its educational component and to prepare the trainers, facilitators of those activities.
Expected results:
• Developed tentative programme of the festival;
• Prepared trainers, facilitators of the educational component ;
• Improved training skills of the trainers.

CLOSING CONFERENCE FINANCIAL PARTNERSHIP OF LSU-EEYC IN SWEDEN

Type of activity: Closing Conference
Place: Stockholm, Sweden 
Dates: March 2010
Number of participants: 2 from each YC + 4 from LSU and 3 other Swedish participants = about 21
Participant profile:  Persons responsible for EEYC from the YC’s. 
Aim: To summarise, visualise and spread the achievements of the cooperation and to define the future relation between EEYC and LSU
Expected results (including how it is linked up with the above-mentioned project objectives and indicators):
• Summarised and visualised effects of the cooperation
• Continued strong relationship between LSU and EEYC
• Highlighting good examples of LSU:s international cooperation
