THE GOVERNMENTAL INSTITUTIONS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUTH POLICY
LEGAL FRAMEWORK
- NYCA is not responsible for the activities of its member organizations, clubs, unions and the member-organizations are not responsible for the activities of NYCA.
- Respectful attitude to the opinion, interests and dignity of NYCA member-organizations.
- Collective work, collegiality in decision-making, mutual and individual responsibility for implementation of taken decisions.
- Publicity and freedom in discussions in work of all the structures of NYCA.
Respect of rights of majority and minority:
- The majority rights are guaranteed by the rights of acting and appearing under the name of NYCA, the right of disposition of organization’s property;
- The minority rights are guaranteed by the right of expression of their position in NYCA, and by the right of realizing their own activities, which are not contradicting to this Statutes, and to their program and statutory documents.
- The executions of decisions of superior bodies of NYCA are obligatory for its subordinate bodies.
- Any substructure of NYCA has a right to take decisions, if more than half of members of that body are present at the meeting. The decision is considered accepted, if there is quorum and if nothing else is foreseen by this Statute.
YOUTH POLICY DIRECTIONS / FIELDS
The state youth policy of the Republic of Armenia is one of the main functions of the State and has strategic importance. It is called to create legal, economical and organizational conditions and guarantees for the development, self-affirmation and self-expression of the young generation that associates with national and global values and deeply realizes the responsibility for homeland and nation. The state youth policy of the Republic of Armenia has been realized as a systematized policy since 1995. Read more on www.youthpolicy.am
YOUTH NGO SECTOR
Youth NGO Sector of Armenia is rather multi-oriented. It includes student councils of universities, as well as non-governmental youth organizations which are aimed to solving problems in different spheres of youth life.
