History
The beginning of the history of EEYC we count not from the day of the signing first agreement, but quite earlier. Everything had started from the project «InterAction», which gather together representatives from following countries Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova with the support of Youth National Council of Sweden. And there had appeared the wish to create the cooperation among Youth National councils of east European region. We clearly understood that we have a lot of common things particularly that we understand one language, we have almost similar problems among young people, and we only had started to build democracy in our countries. Such cooperation could strength our region, would help to our organizations become stronger and what is the most important, that we could be heard on the international level.
National Council of Youth organizations of Georgia was the first, which joined the discussion about cooperation. And then, in half a year, National Youth Councils of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia also joined us.
