PROJECT LEADER MEETING - KICK OFF, FEBRUARY,

Place: Moldova
Arrival: 9th of February, Departure: 13th of February 3 full working days
Number of participants: 2 participants from each country. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Sweden, Ukraine.Total number of participants : 16
Participant profile: Project leaders and board members responsible for EEYC
Aim/Objectives: Project leaders and representatives from the board from all countries meet to plan the details of the project during 2007
Expected results: To get a clear picture of the agenda for the 2007 year, all the details are decided and taken care of.

ALL DIFFERENT ALL EQUAL

Place: Ukraine
Arrival: 11th of April, Departure 15th of April
Number of participants: 3 from each country Total number of participants: 21 (+1 from Sweden)
Participant profile: 1 responsible for the ADAE-campaign in the NYC and two member organisations working with plurality, inclusion or gender equality.
Aim /Objectives: To exchange best practices on how to work on the following issues, inclusion, diversity and gender equality in organisations.  Further on this meeting will also share experiences of the All Equal All Different-campaign taking place in many of the EEYC-member countries. We will also use this meeting to exchange information about upcoming events in Europe and to plan the participation of the EEYC in the meetings.

TRAINING FOR TRAINERS

Place: Georgia
Arrival: 23rd of May Departure: 28th of May
Number of participants: 3 participants from the MOs of the participating organizations. Total number of participants: 21+ 1 from Sweden
Participant profile: Beginner trainers or experienced youth workers/youth leaders who would like to become trainers.
Aim/Objectives: To prepare qualified youth Trainers, people who will be ready to train youth leaders in order to improve the quality of training activities in Eastern Europe.  To create a network of Eastern European youth trainers
Expected results: After the training the Eastern European region will have 14 new and qualified trainers, who later on will train youth leaders in the region.

LOBBY AND ADVOCACY PROGRAM (BELARUS, SEPTEMBER)

Place: Belarus
Arrival day: 7th of September, Departure day: 12th of September
Number of participants: 3 participants from each country and 2 facilitators.  3 experts on the themeTotal number of participants: 21+1 from Sweden
Participants’ profile: activists of youth organizations that are involved in EEYC who have an insight on the lobby and advocacy theme. Different level of awareness. Recommendation from the sending organization required.
Aims, objectives: To get young people acquainted with techniques of lobbying and advocacy mechanisms, so that they can improve their skills of productive communication for the benefit of their organizations. To teach them practical things about the issue on the examples of best practices
Expected result: Awareness is raised on the issue of lobby and advocacy; the number of people responsible for such communication in the member organizations of all the youth councils is increasing. Exchange of experience and knowledge has taken place. Professional skills are improved and young people obtain the necessary tools to influence the situation with the youth policy and work, and also to adequately measure this situation and defend their rights.

MEETING OF EEYC’S MINISTERS TOGETHER WITH EEYC

Place: Georgia
Arrival: 21st of September Departure: 25th of Septembe, 3 working days Number of participants:  3 participants from each country
Participant profile: 2 from National Youth Council (President or board member or International Cooperation responsible for EEYC) and 1 from the state youth structure (Minister/Head of Department) Total amount of participants: 21+1 from Sweden
Aim/Objectives: The aim is to raise awareness about EEYC to the state representatives; to develop the cooperation between these two actors (YNGO and state).
Expected results: The state youth structures will become acquainted with the cooperation and activities implemented in the framework of the EEYC. A joint action plan will be drafted for achievement of some of the objectives for EEYC.

INCREASE YOUTH PARTICIPATION THROUGH VOLUNTEERING - SEMINAR, OCTOBER, MOLDOVA

Arrival: 19th of October, Departure: 23rd of October3 full working days
Number of participants: 3 participants from each country. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine. 1 from Sweden
Total number of participants:  23
Participant profile: active young people aged 16-30 from organisations from the local level members of YC members of EEYC.
Aim/Objectives: to promote the concept and idea of volunteering; exchange of experiences and best practices on how to increase youth participation through volunteering; to start the elaboration process of a policy paper on volunteering in EEYC;
Expected results
Short term: the experience and best practices on how to increase youth participation through volunteering are shared as well as documents related to this issue; new methods and techniques of involving youth as volunteers are shared
Long term: Policy Paper on Volunteering in EEYC is elaborated and implemented

EVALUATION MEETING

Place: Ukraine
Arrival: 23rd of November Departure: 27 of November 3 full working days
Number of participants: 2 participants from each country.
Participant profile: project leaders, members of the board, responsible for EEYC.
Aim/Objectives: At this meeting the project will be evaluated. We will analyse the goals and the results of our work during the year.
Expected results: To get a clear picture of results from the year.  Comments and give inputs to the application 2008. Discuss possible donors. Make a list of international companies in each country (co-financing). Discuss the process of increasing EEYC.
